I have itp. my platelet count has been consistently between 5,000-15,000 for over 6 years. i am no longer receiving any treatments for itp. is it safe to get the covid vaccine with platelet counts under 20,000?

Of course you should clear this with your own doctor, but there should be no problem with getting the Covid vaccine at those platelet counts. Please don't delay! If you were to get ill with Covid, you would need many more injections and needlesticks than the 1 safe one with the vaccine.
