It is conceivable that giving blood from someone who has cancer with the cells floating around in the blood could get the cancer. Especially if the cancer is caused by a virus as in common in cats and chickens. I have not read of such a case by you can go to PUBMED.gov and search the world's literature on this by entering cancer from blood transfusion in humans. Let us know what you find.

There are no known instances of cancer transmission through blood transfusion. You can reduce your risk of cancer by adopting healthy habits: Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, get HPV vaccine, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless.
