cardio means heart in medical speak so its the same thing. they should not call it normal no matter the age

Essentially the same thing. Mild cardiomegaly(enlarged heart) and mild cardiac dilatation essentially the same. May not be clinically significant or serious, but always abnormal. May be expected in hypertensives but should not be called NORMAL.
