It could. Any manipulation of the mouth, fever, exposure to sun etc and cause a cold sore. Do not skip dental hygiene because of this. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Possibly. Fever blister caused by virus that lives along nerve trunks. Any type of stress can activate the virus. There are OTC products that can ease the discomfort. Ask your Pharmacist. If cold sore not completely healed in 2 weeks fro onset, immediately see your Dentist.
