A member asked:

I went to the dentist 2 days ago, can a dental procedure cause canker sore?

Possible: Canker sores can be caused by any nick or break in the mucosa. The dentists use sharp instruments and it is possible to nick the mucosa during treatment.

Sort of: Stress and local irritation are though to be possible cause of canker sites. This is a common occurrence although it could also be incidental.
