I had a soccer ball thrown at my chest and now my chest hurts. it mostly hurts when i exhale completely. no other symptoms that are noticeable. my chest gets hit often but it never hurts like this. why? and does it affect my lungs or heart?

Please notify your Pediatrician or see Pediatric urgent care. The chest wall protects the lung and heart but you should have an examination to ensure the pain is only muscular. Discuss a heating pad and Ibuprofen with your physician. Watch for signs of difficulty breathing, palpitations.
