I have swelling in both parotid glands .. one side is more pronounced .. came on fast ..its been 10 days and no change .. started taking sucralfate just before swelling ..clinical tests show no connection .. do i see gen. doc or specialist .. or wait?

It would be better to start with your primary care provider for an initial assessment and to ascertain if a consultation with a specialist is warranted. Bilateral parotid enlargement is usually benign.
