Yesterday my dematologist looked at a raised mole i that popped up on my face two weeks ago he told me that it looked normal. a few hours later when i looked at it again i realized that the mole had darkened alot. is it likely to be melanoma?

Highly unlikely to be a Melanoma . Benign Moles in the twenties often get harder and darker over the course of a few years . Please don't worry .
