Get another doc!: The only way to know for sure that your mole is benign is to remove it. Even if it looks fine, if it's so painful that you can't touch it at all, it would be better off gone. Ask a doctor to take it off to make you feel better. And make sure it is sent to pathology to rule out melanoma!
