You should have your mole examined by your doctor to determine if it has any features that are worrisome for malignancy. If it does look suspicious in any way, make arrangements to have it removed by a skin specialist so it can be sent to the lab and examined under a microscope. Then, you will know if it is melanoma, and, if it is, you can be treated. Good luck to you!
