I suffer from ulcerative colitis. ive just found out that my cat has giardia, am i at risk of contracting it? im worried because giardia causes problems in the intestinals. what should i do? im in panic?

Giardia is passed through the fecal debris contaminating water a person ingests. It does not jump from the cat to you like a simple germ. Practice simple handwashing and you should be fine.
