Hello! i developed a sinus infection. i was on augmentin for 10 days. it didnt go completely away. the doc gave me another round. 10 more days. is this possible to need another round? any advice? i brought some yogurt to eat while on it?

There are 2 possible answers: you can repeat a second round of Augmentin if dose of the first round was low and dose should be increased in the second round. If the Augmentin dose was average to high in the first round, a different antibiotic should be used. In general, 20 days of Augmentin is not a big deal. Loose stool is a common side effect of Augmentin.
