I want to stay in shape while healing from plantar facitis & shin splits. i thought of purchasing an exercise bike, considering my plantar and shin splits feel sore when using the ellipitcal that i own. what other exercises can i do? i love cardio?

Cycling is your best option,as it doesn’t put pressure on the areas you are having problems with and is an excellent cardio exercise.Take frequent breaks at first and make sure the bike fits you well. If you already own a bike, you can also look into getting a trainer to put your own bike on(especially if your bike fits you well). If you’re doing physical therapy, also ask the therapist for ideas.

You can do spin classes. Use minimal resistance. I also think circuit training with weights,Bands or machines works well.
