Melatonin is an OTC relatively safe product intended to replicate the body's circadian rhythms. But like other sleeping pills, over time tolerance results and even higher doses may no longer be adequate. This is not a permanent sleep solution. Far better is a sleep hygiene program which a virtual consult at the paid portion of HT could provide.
