It is unlikely those 2 distant events are related. I wonder if you had a covid-19 vaccine in the last couple days because it can cause the axillary pain in the opposite side due to reactive lymph nodes after the vaccine. If not vaccinated recently, you need to watch the area for the rashes in the next 1-2 days; if rashes appear, you have shingles and your need to see your doctor ASAP.
