First thing to do is to count your pulse at your wrist artery for 60 seconds by feeling it to validate the accuracy of the pulse ox rate. Check when racing and in 70s.

Your pulse or heart rate appears normal at 70-80/min. Palpitations suggest an arrhythmia, the majority of which are benign. Anxiety will always exaggerate symptoms and keeping checking will only make it worse. Best would be to discuss with your doc who would be able to put together a plan.
