Would the pfizer vaccine cause a positive on the antibody test they give you at dr for the igg and igm? both of mine were positive. dr thinks i was reinfected with covid. i had it in april and the vaccine 3 weeks ago?

IgG antibodies can stay positive for months after a covid infection.but the vaccine can also raise your IgM &IgG antibodies. My sense is that you were not reinfected.

The covid antibodies are different from those created after the vaccine is given. Vaccine antibody tests are in limited use. I would suspect your antibody report just reflects covid infection.
