Proper diagnosis requires more history and an exam. Has the person been swimming a lot? If not it is unlikely. Ear fullness followed by pain & then drainage suggests a hole developed in an infected eardrum & allowed pus to drain. Selection of treatment will require the ear be examined for infection/hole in drum/ canal swelling/etc.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Your symptoms are consistent with middle ear infection and a perforate ear drum. It is imperative that you see a doctor, preferably an ENT doctor.
