Infection: Probably you have an infection of the outer ear (otitis externa). Swimmer's ear is one such infection, but not the only one. However, if you have been swimming frequently or involved in water sports, that particular type certainly is possible. Can be dangerous if not treated. See a doctor ASAP for diagnosis and prescription for antibiotic eardrops, and maybe an antibiotic by mouth as well.
