Rabbit pellet stool is caused by inadequate fluids and or excessive alcohol/caffeine intake, both of which lead to dehydration. In this circumstance the pelletized stool can aggravate hemorrhoids or a fissure and lead to bleeding as well. Best to see a colorectal surgeon and get a thorough evaluation to rule out more serious causes of the bleeding. Don’t delay!!
