What is meant by "distal erosive proctitis" in colonoscopy finding ? everything else looks fine. reason for colonoscopy was : slight red blood in side of the stool for three months with out having any other symptoms?

Distal erosive proctitis means there is an area near the anal opening (distal part of colon) the is irritated and may have ulcerations (open sores). This finding may answer your question of why the blood was there, but now you need to find out how to heal that area. Please follow up with your doctor for management.
