Recurrent pattern?: If you have alternating constipation and loose BM , then the condition is likely from irritable bowel syndrome. Try eating more fiber and doing more exercise on a regular basis to see if this helps. If not, see your doctor. If you were older or have a strong family of colon cancer or polyps, then you should get a colonoscopy.
