Why are you worried? Do you have concerning symptoms? Why would you not trust your cardiologist? Trace pericardial effusion may be a transient thing and may resolve by itself. It just means small fluid around the heart and may mean nothing to worry about is why your cardiologist was trying to reassure you. You did not say why Echo was done but mild inflammation may cause easily reabsorb able fluid
