I've had upper abdominal pain & shortness of breath for 7 days. doctor did ecg & bloodwork (normal) so they think it's stomach ulcer. taken pantoprazole for 5 days, no improvement. pain does not get worse when eating acidic foods. what could it be?

Would get tested for H pylori a bacteria that resides in the stomach and is associated with ulcers and needs antibiotics to resolve/or gallbladder( ultrasound). Test for COVID. Do CXR.. Recent vaccination- check for myocarditis (may see on EKG/echo) Rarely if near the lungs may be lung clot (more commonly in females on birth control) -d-dimer test may be helpful. F/u/ w/ urgent care/ MD

I was diagnosed with stomach ulcers. Doctor prescribed Pantoprazole 40mg twice a day for 8 weeks. Seems like its usually prescribed for once a day. Is twice a day for 8 weeks safe?
Besides a prescription for protonix (pantoprazole) what else is there that will also help to heal stomach ulcers, when diagnosed by a doctor?
I can't tell if I have a stomach ulcer. I get hunger pains, when I am hungry. They go away when I eat, but come back. They're mild. It also feel uncomfortable if i press on my upper abdomen. I am a hypocondriac, but should this be a doctors visit?
