I can't tell if i have a stomach ulcer. i get hunger pains, when i am hungry. they go away when i eat, but come back. they're mild. it also feel uncomfortable if i press on my upper abdomen. i am a hypocondriac, but should this be a doctors visit?

The only way to find out if you have a stomach ulcer is to see a GI doctor and get tested. An upper endoscopy, where the doctor looks into your stomach with a lighted scope with a camera may be needed to diagnose a stomach ulcer. So, see a GI doctor for evaluation. Best of luck to you!

I have extreme pain in my upper abdomen. Middle and both sides. Gets worse when running. Doctor suspected a ulcer a while back. Put me on topzole for two months. Went away now month later the pain is back. Tested for bacteria negative.
