I was diagnosed with stomach ulcers. doctor prescribed pantoprazole 40mg twice a day for 8 weeks. seems like its usually prescribed for once a day. is twice a day for 8 weeks safe?

That is not an unusual dose and length of time for a serious condition like peptic ulceration of the stomach. Follow your gastroenterologist's advice and instructions.
