If the irrigation was to remove an obstructive block to hearing, then return should be immediate. If you still have hearing issues either the removal was incomplete or there is a deeper issue. If persistent, see your ENT doctor for a better analysis.

Usually the improvement is immediate if hearing was affected by a plug. If no improvements alternate causes for hearing loss should be investigated.
