A member asked:

Can i get my hearing back and get rid of this fluid inside ear without tubes just antibios?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually: Most episodes of fluid behind the tympanic membrane will resolve spontaneously, or with antibiotics. Tubes are only used when fluid remains for more than 90 days or there other problems observed in the ear.
