After infection clea: It depends on the infection whether it is viral or bacterial and if there is residual fluid left behind the ear drum after the full course of antibiotics and reexamination by the doctor if the infection has all clearedand there is no residual fluid behind the ear drum, your hering should return to normal gradually within 2to3 weeks.
