How long does it take to get back my hearing lost due to an ear infection?

It varies.: Usually the fluid in the middle ear resolves by 3 months. There are some things that can be done to speed it up. Talk with your doctor. If the fluid has not resolved by three months i will offer patients a tube placement to remove the fluid. This can be done in the office.
