I had ligament reconstruction and instability surgery for my ankle in 2018. i recently rolled it and its been swelling up around the cfl ligament (i googled it). my appointment isnt for a few months and im not sure what i should do until then?

Make sure when walking your ankle is protected so not to hurt or re-injure your ankle or worse. Use ice therapy for 48 hours then contrast bath therapy. Until physician examination is possible. Aleve or ibuprofen. A few months is a long time to see the surgeon of record? Are they aware of the injury? Physical therapist during this period would be very helpful. Try to inquire about Referal
