In general acidic foods are believed to be worsening gastritis and possibly reflux symptoms. Kiwi and cranberry juice are considered to be acid and as such they may worsen acid induced gastritis. Not all gastritis is caused by acid, but once inflamed the stomach mucosa becomes sensitive to acid.
