Probably not: The mild gastritis is likely caused by the h. Pylori infection. H pylori is a bacteria that attacks stomach lining. Effective treatment is a 10-14 days of antibiotics and a proton pump inhibitor ( like omeprazole) to decrease acid. Lack of treatment may lead to chronic stomach pain and/or stomach ulcers. There is no good evidence that cranberry juice or specific foods are good treatments.
