Hiv exposure 10 months ago. cbc test result today calcium 10.4 high, alt 57ul high, rbc 6.25m/ul high, hemoglobin 17.2g/dl high, hemacrit 53.1% high, urine color yellow, urine app clear, ph6.5, hiv 4 gen test neg. what is causing all these high read?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, most of the high values could be due to dehydration. Drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless. Negative 4 gen rules out HIV from exposure. Wish you good health!
