A member asked:

I did 2 cbc test, one on 11.17.2020 & the other on 04.07 2021 both gave me very high elevated alt (sgpt) reading 65ul. neg hep b&c, pos hep a. neg hiv at 9 months. i was exposed to hiv & hepatitis viruses over 10 months ago. i don't smoke or drink?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ALT = 65 NOT “very high” - minor (but definitely abnormal). Many other causes of low grade liver inflammation besides viral hepatitis (NASH, medications, etc). You need to see someone who has gone to medical school (ie., a doctor) to check this out and stop trying to “play” doctor
