Not yet.: If you don't have family history of men, it would be important to find out what type of mass is in your adrenal before genetic testing. Many different types of masses can be found in the adrenal that are not endocrine related such as myelolipoma and angiomyolipma. Genetic testing can be expensive and many insurances deny coverage.

MEN 2: Great question. What was the pathology of the parathyroid gland in 2006? Men 2 is a complex of medulary thyroid cancer (mtc), parathyroid hyperplasia, and pheochromocytoma of the adrenal gland. Although your adrenal growth is only 18 hu and 15mm, this does not rule out a functional adrenal mass. The ret oncogene is responsible for men2. Consult an endocrinologist and experienced adrenal surgeon.
