If you are consuming less calories than you need to maintain body weight, and are in a vigorous exercise regimen, it is possible you have gained some muscle mass. This can be complicated to sort out. You may see how you fit into clothes you wore before starting calorie reduction/exercise regimen to see if they fit a little looser. This can help see if any fat loss/muscle gain has been going on.
