Yes: 3500 calories is equal to one pound, so you can do the math. You should be focusing on eating more than 1000 calories/day , eating healthier foods and appropriate portion sizes. 1000 calories will not allow proper health, growth and function. It is fine to burn more than the intake, but do so carefully and slowly. Otherwise, you may ruin yourself for life. Multiple organ systems affected. Be Smart
