What exactly is the diagnosing process for a tic disorder? what will a doctor do to find out whether i have one?

This is suspected by history and physical, sometimes including some lab work. Tics are repetitive pattern events that may be suppressed but not fully controlled by those who have them. Transient tics can last up to 6 months while those that persist are considered chronic & possibly permanent.

I am not from America. I have had neck tic for two years and this tic is accompanied by pain. When the pain is concentrated, the intensity of the tic increases. I don't have access to a good doctor here. I only ask you for the names of effective drug?
