I was not by a tic many years ago. a tic with a bulls eye appeared on my right side waist. i had thrown the tic away but later did go to my family practice doctor. he laughed at me and said there were no infectious tics in north dakota! help me?

Help you what ? When you post on this site you need to provide detailed information followed by a clear related question. The wording is confusing but you seem to imply a tic bite years ago. You do not provide any current symptoms you attribute to this event. You do not ask a clear question. You are welcome to start over. In its current form little can be said.

The target form of the rash is one characteristic of Lyme disease. Infected tics may be in many geographic areas. If you are concerned, please request a screening test from urgent care or from a PCP.
