Partially empty sella is quite common and generally without symptoms.

Empty sella syndrome describes extra space surrounding pituitary gland, and in most cases, has no clinically associated dysfnctn. This does not cause migraines, and vice versa. The "TIA" most likely represents a migrainous phenomenon. A neurologist could sort this out fully.
