A member asked:

Mpa shows fusiform aneurysm (31mm). branch pulmonary arteries do also. ivc shows dilation at 37mm. results were via a cardiac mri. hx of cardiac paraganglioma and hypertension (tumor removed/ medicated for bp). is this pulmonary hypertension?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I don't consider those findings necessarily indicative of pulmonary hypertension. It is usually diagnosed by echocardiography or catheterization of the right side of the heart.
