Can i stop my doxycycline heclate for acne suddenly? its been about 2 weeks, but i have gerd and my acxid reflux is really bad right now, while on dexilant. i have a follow up with derma in 3 days, but i dont think i can last that long. can i stop?

If taking doxy after meals or after liquid antacids doesn't improve your GERD symptoms, I would stop doxy now and ask your dermatologist to try you on a different antibiotic that can treat acne. Bactrim or azithromycin are possibilities.
