A member asked:

A year later when i rub the top of my toe from my bunion surgery there is a spot that hurts to rub or touch is it the screws or scar tissue cause the pain?

Either one are possibilities which is causing you to have this pain also under consideration would be whether a nerve wasn’t trapped in the scar tissue causing this type of discomfort. It is best to allow the surgeon to assess the situation. He should be able to make a definitive diagnosis as what is causing the problem and resolve it with the proper treatment
