A member asked:

Can a lymph nodes be non-cancerous even if they are immovable and pea sized and if it also hasn't enlarged in a 6 month period?

Lymph nodes are "reactive" to infectious disease, and post-infection (viral, bacterial) often become enlarged . If lymph nodes are truly "immovable", biopsy may be indicated, so inquire from your physician for guidance.

You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
