A member asked:

Can a pair of pea sized immovable lymph nodes wich have no changed in a 5 month period be a sign of cancer?

What you describe is too small to think about Cancer. Small lymph nodes are normally present in some areas of our lymphatic system. The fact that their size has not increased is further reassuring that these are not likely to raise any serious questions. Check them once a month for 6 months. If the size does not increase these would be considered benign.

Very unlikely. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
