Not at all. Although high doses can cause cognitive clouding and "brain fog", this is temporary only. There is no long term effect causing dementia.

There are associations of using certain medicines in those later diagnosed with dementia. We have no reason to believe these medicines caused the dementia. if you have questions about your clonazepam use please discuss with your prescribing provider.
