Fecal hemaquant test 24 months ago normal (0.2). stool fit positive today. is this concerning at less than 40 y/o? also have gerd and possible ulcer?

Stool positive for occult blood must be explained. At your age I wouldn't be thinking of malignancy necessarily. The occult blood may well be from peptic ulcer or your gerd. Nevertheless for peace of mind I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice.
