I do not get heartburn nor do i have gerd. i have had ulcers related to h pylori and need a med to reduce the acid in my stool burning my rectum.

Not an acid problem: Several possibilities, such as an anal fissure, prolapsing hemorrhoids, a fungal infection, and pruritus ani (inflammation of the skin around the anus). An examination as well as a detailed history are in order.
