I had belly button hernia repair done 2 weeks ago. i have 6 staples in my belly button. one of the staples has sunk deeper into the naval. should i be concerned? also the bandage has caused an allergic reaction. it is red and itches?

That sunken staple should be taken out this incoming week. The surgical wounds should be dry well by now, you can take the bandage off, let the staples out in the air. You can put cortisone cream (OTC) on the rashes.
